Description / The Sweet Temptations - Luca Montersino

Forget your guilt and prepare to indulge in every sweet temptation! What's wrong with indulging in a spoonful of gluten-free tiramisu or tucking into a dairy-free spelt and extra virgin olive oil tart? In this book, Luca Montersino shares his expertise in over 60 recipes , from originals to timeless classics, rigorously prepared according to the philosophy of the "healthy glutton." After a biographical chapter in which he recounts his story and passion for this craft, here is the actual pastry school: the basics like sponge cake, puff pastry, shortcrust pastry and leavened products, and then creams and meringues, and ingredients that range beyond the traditional flour-butter-eggs. Luca also reveals the tricks and secrets to make your preparations a success. Thanks to this precious illustrated book, even those who suffer from allergies or intolerances will find valid solutions in cereals such as kamut and quinoa , and those on a diet will solve their calorie problems by using vegetable fats, such as rice oil, and sugars, such as maltitol or fructose.
