Panela The Original Brick 450g

The original 450g Panela brick is a one-of-a-kind cane sugar brick. These whole sugar bricks have their roots in the Andes Mountains. Here, they are processed from a particular variety of sugarcane that grows at over 1,200 meters above sea level. The juice from the freshly harvested sugarcane is cold-pressed and concentrated mechanically. Once the excess water is removed, it is ready to be compacted into traditional local bricks. No extra filtering or cooking is required, just like in the days of the Spanish conquistadors. The resulting whole sugar has an impressive nutritional profile and retains its original vitality, with a good content of calcium, manganese, selenium, and other essential vitamins and minerals. Try it!
