Description / Organic Whole Coconut Sugar 250g
This whole coconut sugar is an excellent alternative to more common sweeteners. It's obtained by grinding coconut blossom nectar, which has been gently cooked and concentrated.
The plant from which it comes is a palm tree ( Cocos Nucifera ), the same one from which coconuts are harvested, grown organically .
Nectar extraction involves a light hand-made incision in the bark, which secretes the sugary liquid that will subsequently be concentrated.
