Alce Nero fig and lemon compote (Name: Preparation based on organic figs and lemons - without added pectin) is a specialty made with 60% figs, grape sugar, and 10% lemons. It is produced by Alce Nero & Mielizia and distributed by Alce Nero di Monterenzio (BO).
Alce Nero fig and lemon compote is made with exclusively Italian figs and lemons. The flavor is a mix of sweetness, derived from the figs, and the tartness typical of the lemon. The aroma is very inviting from the first opening. The process is delicate, maintaining a soft consistency, allowing the compote to be easily spread and suitable for a variety of uses in the kitchen.
