Coconut oil is produced from coconuts grown on small farms in the Philippines using traditional methods (and Dr. Goerg , the company, consistently supports humanitarian projects in the Philippines and Germany). They are cold-pressed at 38°C and contain up to 59.42% lauric acid . Within 72 hours of harvest, they are hand-shelled and processed into organic coconut oil . In Asia, coconut oil has been considered an important source of nutrients and beauty benefits for centuries.
It should be stored in a closed container at room temperature, avoiding direct exposure to sunlight. Below 24°C, the fat solidifies without losing its qualities. The fine, honeycomb-like structure is a characteristic that demonstrates the particularly high quality of coconut oil . It is an odorless ingredient that can be used in various ways for baking, cooking, and frying, as an ingredient in smoothies and juices, and as a substitute for butter.
