Characteristics: Oolong (Qing Tea) is a semi-fermented tea produced in China and Taiwan. The harvested leaves are immediately processed: they are left to wither in the sun, shaken in baskets so that the edges of the leaves are broken. As the leaves are left to dry, they turn yellow, while the edges turn reddish due to the reaction of the chemicals released by the leaves during the breaking process with oxygen. It is therefore a process intermediate between that of green tea and that of black tea, resulting in brownish leaves with a light fruity aroma. An excellent traditional Chinese green tea, obtained from organic farming.
