Maple Syrup 250ml Organic

It is obtained in spring by cutting into the bark of two particular varieties of maple: the black maple (Acer nigrum) and the sugar maple (Acer saccharum). The resulting sap (containing just 2% sugar) is concentrated in special containers called sugar shacks, or cabanes à sucre, to about 1/40 of its volume. Before being bottled, it is then filtered, more or less thoroughly, to classify it as fancy (more refined), grade A, B , or C (less refined).
A maple tree produces an average of 40 liters of sap per year, and to produce this, it must be at least 80 years old .
From a nutritional point of view, it is a very genuine product, rich in mineral salts: potassium , calcium (in high quantities), iron and phosphorus (in smaller quantities). There are also traces of B vitamins .

How to Use:
Excellent for sweetening in general or diluted in water to prepare thirst-quenching drinks.
