Description / Dried Konjac Shirataki (Rice)

Dried Konjac Shirataki Noodles: A Low-Calorie, High-Fiber Food!

Our dried Konjac Shirataki noodles are a low-calorie food, ideal for those following a low-carb diet. They're also an excellent choice for those looking to control their blood sugar and quickly satiate themselves with a nearly zero-calorie food.

Dried Konjac Shirataki are made with konjac flour, an oriental root rich in glucomannan . The unique thing about this preparation is that 50g of dried noodles weigh 225g once hydrated , offering excellent value. Once hydrated, they take just 12 minutes to prepare, and are ready to be served with sauces and condiments of your choice!

How to cook dried konjac shirataki noodles?

To cook dried Konjac Shirataki, fill a bowl with hot water (plenty of it, as ZenPasta will absorb a lot). Submerge the desired amount and let it rest for at least 12 minutes. Then drain (using a colander) and rinse thoroughly under running hot water. Rinsing is very important because it removes the small amount of sugar used to keep the ZenPasta rolls firm: the better the rinse, the less residual sugar there will be. At this point, simply sauté them with some sauce in a pan; they don't require further cooking.

Ingredients

Water, Konjac flour, citric acid, calcium hydroxide, tapioca syrup and starch (traces).
