Dehydrated apple is made up of thin slices of completely natural apple, simply dehydrated.

Thanks to a recently implemented new technology, at the Ama te stesso farm, they transform fresh fruit and vegetables into dehydrated ones: an innovative product made possible by cold dehydration . The traditional drying method involves high temperatures that cause significant physical and chemical changes in the characteristics of the treated product .
The new "cold" technology, on the other hand, is based on systems that generate artificial cold: the air is cooled, dehydrated, and simultaneously heated to temperatures of 35-40°C, with humidity of approximately 3%. This process, which circulates a flow of cold, dry air , dehydrates fresh fruit and vegetables while maintaining their aroma, color, and organoleptic properties intact .

The end result is a product with decidedly superior added value in terms of quality and appearance, immediately usable and therefore decidedly useful for the hectic everyday life, but healthy, since no sugars, preservatives or colourings are added.

The apple tree is a plant native to Asia and belongs to the Rosaceae family; there are at least 2,000 varieties. The tree is vigorous, with a smooth trunk and oval leaves, and in April it is covered in beautiful white flowers.

The fruit ripens in late summer, but despite this, it remains available year-round, having become seasonally independent. The fruit, also known as pome, has an elongated spherical shape ranging from 5 to 9 cm in diameter. Its outer skin is yellow, red, or green depending on the variety, while the flesh is always yellow-white. The flavor varies depending on the variety, ranging from very sweet to decidedly tart and fresh.
