Description / Bramata Corn Flour
Bramata Corn Flour: a certified quality product
Bramata corn flour is a certified quality product, made with organic raw materials, inspected by a highly respected certification body: Bioagricert. Bramata corn flour is obtained by cylinder-milling organic yellow corn. The production process has been carefully designed to obtain an excellent quality product, characterized by various components, such as semolina, corn flour, middlings, bran, and germ. Each of these products is then used for very specific purposes.
Semolina, depending on its grain size, is sold as Fioretto (finer) or Bramata (coarser), while bran and flour are used for different purposes; the germ is used to produce oil.
Bramata Corn Flour: a versatile product
Bramata corn flour is a versatile product, suitable for a variety of preparations. It's excellent for making polenta, which requires a cooking time of 60 to 90 minutes. Typically, 100-120g of corn flour is used per person, to which 600ml of water and a teaspoon of salt are added.
Furthermore, Bramata corn flour is an excellent ingredient for making desserts, such as cakes, muffins, cookies, and tarts, as well as savory dishes, such as meatballs, fritters, croquettes, and cream soups. Bramata corn flour is also a suitable ingredient for preparing fish-based dishes, such as fried fish.
