It has a golden color, a very pleasant flavor, and a particularly high sweetening power. What is agave syrup?
It is a sweetener composed mainly of fructose , highly soluble, with a low tendency to crystallize and a sweetening power higher than that of sucrose (common sugar). Thanks to the prevalence of this sugar, it has a very low glycemic index compared to most common sweeteners (not insulin-dependent). From a nutritional point of view, it is rich in calcium , magnesium, potassium and iron . What is maple syrup?
It is a concentrated sap consisting mainly of sucrose . It is found in different refinements: fancy (more refined), grade A, B , or C (less refined).
From a nutritional point of view, it is a very genuine product, rich in mineral salts: potassium , calcium (in high quantities), iron and phosphorus (in smaller quantities). There are also traces of B vitamins .
How to Use.
Excellent for sweetening baked goods, fruit and drinks.
