Een van de meest gewaardeerde en prestigieuze Indiase theeën ter wereld, vaak beschouwd als de "champagne van de thee". Uit de infusie ontstaat een lichte, heldere thee met een bloemige aroma en een licht astringerende smaak.
Gebruik
De infusie van zwarte theeën gebeurt meestal bij hoge temperaturen, tussen de 85 °C en 95 °C, en de infusietijden liggen tussen de 3 en 4 minuten.
