Deze thee wordt ook wel "rood" genoemd vanwege de roodachtige kleur die ontstaat tijdens het infuseren. De smaak is subtiel met een houtachtige noot van leer en vochtige aarde, bijna rokerig
Gebruik
Het infuseren van zwarte thee gebeurt meestal op hoge temperaturen, tussen 85 °C en 95 °C, en de infusietijden liggen tussen 3 en 4 minuten.
