Himalaya roze zout is een fossiel zout, gewonnen uit de mijnen aan de voet van de Pakistaanse Himalaya. Het is een zout in kristallijne vorm en dateert van 250 miljoen jaar geleden, ontdekt door de lokale bevolking. Het is een kostbaar zout, rijk aan sporenelementen, waardoor we ook magnesium, calcium, ijzer, zink en jodium in ons lichaam opnemen. Verrijkt met bloemblaadjes, zal dit zout een heerlijke aroma aan alle bereide gerechten geven.
