Ingredients : Organic eucalyptus honey.
Characteristics: Plant origin: Eucalyptus camaldulensis. Eucalyptus honey is highly aromatic: it has a distinctive, not very sweet flavor. The aroma is strong, reminiscent of dried mushrooms, and reminiscent of licorice toffee. The color is amber when liquid, while after crystallization (2-3 months) it takes on a beige to dark hazelnut color. Crystallization is very rapid and the honey is compact, due to the low humidity and low fructose/glucose ratio. Caution: Due to rapid crystallization, white shrinkage spots may form on the sides of the jar. This is not mold, but rather tiny air pockets between the honey and the jar walls, caused by the dehydration of the glucose crystals. This defect is purely aesthetic and does not affect the taste or authenticity of the honey. It disappears when the honey is reheated and the crystals adhere to the walls again.
