Description / Cane sugar syrup (partially inverted) 454g
Lyle's Golden Syrup is made from an emulsion of water and partially inverted raw cane sugar .
The inversion process separates the two molecules that make up sugar, glucose and fructose. Compared to traditional sugar, it has a greater sweetening power (about 1.2 times greater).
How to Use:
This syrup is excellent for sweetening in general, especially baked goods where, at the same time, it gives greater softness (it retains more water), while in ice cream it lowers the freezing point (about 1.8 times that of sugar).
