Description / Gentil Rosso Whole Wheat Flour 5kg Organic
This flour is obtained by grinding Gentil Rosso, an ancient and prized variety of soft wheat,in stone mills . This grain is characterized by a large yellow-red ear and a height of 165 centimeters.
It has a notable resistance to diseases (such as rust), good rusticity and adaptability.
Gentil Rosso was the most widespread variety between 1920 and 1930 , so much so that it was cultivated on around one million hectares .
How to use:
It is excellent for preparing sweet and savoury baked goods: both pure and in combination with other flours.
