Description / Organic Chufa Flakes 400g
Lots of fiber and healthy fats!
Chufa is the Spanish name given to Cyperus Esculentes , a tuber widespread in the Valencia area.
In Italy it is very little used, except to a limited extent in perfumeries (due to its pleasant violet scent ).
Its flavour is particularly sweet and velvety (it reminds, in addition to violets, also of walnuts).
Nutritionally, it's very rich in fiber and unsaturated fats; it contains no cholesterol or gluten. The most abundant minerals are phosphorus and potassium , while sodium is present only in trace amounts.

How to use:
It can be used in the preparation of sauces, cream soups, baked goods, yogurt, milk.
