BOPF (Broken Orange Pekoe Fannings) grade, it is made from broken leaves, selected from the long, pointed leaves harvested late when the buds open (known as Orange Pekoe). After selection, they are left to wither and ferment completely until they reach a burnished color, hence the name black tea. Finally, sifting yields the fragments (Fannings) contained in the filters. With a deep golden color and a bold flavor, this tea is perfect for breakfast.
