Description / Saffron stigmas, 0.5g jar
Saffron is used in a wide variety of recipes, from classic risotto alla Milanese (3-4 threads per serving) to various fish, meat, and vegetable dishes. For proper use, we recommend placing the threads to be used in a small coffee cup covered with warm water for a few minutes. The water will turn yellow. Then, pour the mixture into the dish you're preparing, towards the end of cooking!
Usage
It imparts a pleasant flavor to rice, sauces, and onions. It's also excellent for coloring dough, especially egg-free doughs, to give them their characteristic color.
