The original Panela bonbon in a 120g jar is a natural cane sugar obtained by cold-grinding traditional sugar bricks native to the Andes. The bricks are made using a very gentle method, which involves simply pressing and concentrating (mechanically removing excess water) the juice from freshly harvested sugar cane. The resulting juice bypasses the filtration and cooking processes, resulting in a sugar with excellent nutritional values and an absolutely unparalleled micronutrient profile.
