Alce Nero creamy tomato puree (Denomination: Italian tomato puree) is a tomato-based specialty. It is produced by Alce Nero & Mielizia and distributed by Alce Nero di Monterenzio (BO).
Alce Nero organic creamy passata is made with elongated tomatoes, including Coimbra, Ercole, and other varieties grown by approximately 25 farms in the Po Delta. The tomato varieties in this range of purées and ready-made sauces are characterized by firm, well-structured flesh and a sweet, delicate flavor. The tomatoes are harvested in July, August, and September at the perfect level of ripeness and are processed within 10 hours on average to preserve their flavor, aroma, and nutritional properties.
