Alce Nero Italian Forest Honey (Designation: Organic Italian Forest Honey) is a specialty based on forest honey. It is produced by Alce Nero & Mielizia and distributed by Alce Nero di Monterenzio (BO).
Alce Nero Italian forest honey is organic. It has an amber-red color and an intense aroma. Harvest takes place between July and September in the Piedmont, Lombardy, and Emilia-Romagna regions. After honey extraction by mechanical centrifugation, it is left to settle, filtered, and packaged without undergoing heat preservation treatments. Forest honey is perfect paired with fresh cheeses like ricotta or mascarpone.
