Alce Nero Dried Tomatoes in Oil (Denomination: Dried Tomatoes in Oil) is a specialty made with 48% dried tomatoes, sunflower seed oil, 12% extra virgin olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, cane sugar, garlic, 0.05% oregano, pepper, and parsley. It is produced by Alce Nero & Mielizia and distributed by Alce Nero di Monterenzio (BO).
Alce Nero Sun-Dried Tomatoes in Oil are prepared with aromatic herbs such as parsley, pepper, oregano, and other herbs that enhance the flavor, along with extra virgin olive oil and tomatoes from Puglia. The processing and packaging are meticulous and, above all, traditional. Each tomato is individually inspected to maintain its properties during the drying process. They are then pressed to eliminate air bubbles. Despite this process, the tomatoes retain their flavor for a long time and are ideal for any type of condiment, from appetizers and aperitifs to first and second courses or side dishes.
