Alce Nero Biancolilla Monocultivar Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Designation: Organic Biancolilla Monocultivar Extra Virgin Olive Oil) is an olive-based specialty. It is produced by Alce Nero & Mielizia and distributed by Alce Nero di Monterenzio (BO).
Alce Nero Biancolilla Monocultivar Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made exclusively with Biancolilla olives, producing a straw-yellow oil with golden highlights and a delicate flavor. This oil pairs perfectly with raw and cooked vegetables, potatoes, soups, and grilled fish. Alce Nero Biancolilla Monocultivar Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced by the Aip-Olivo Cooperative of Palermo. The olives come from approximately 2,500 Biancolilla cultivar olive trees, with an average age of 25 years, cultivated on approximately 15 hectares by 20 olive growers. The land is hilly and partly terraced, and the climate is Mediterranean, generally dry. As required by organic regulations, no chemical treatments are used.
