Spelt Speculoos biscuits with honey and cinnamon Fior di Loto (Denomination: Organic spiced biscuits with honey and cinnamon) is a specialty made from cane sugar, spelt flour (contains gluten) 23.4%, wholemeal spelt flour (contains gluten) 20.5%, non-hydrogenated vegetable margarine (palm oil, sunflower oil, water, salt, acidity regulator: citric acid), honey 2.7%, soy flour, raising agent: sodium bicarbonate, cinnamon 0.2%.
The producer is Il Fior di Loto.
An ancient peasant recipe made with flour and honey with a strong cinnamon flavor, very popular especially in Northern Europe, which today is enriched with a variant made with spelt flour, prepared according to tradition.
