The sublime chocolate cake is an incredibly easy dessert to prepare that requires only 5 ingredients. This dessert contains neither yeast nor flour, but only chocolate, sugar, butter, cocoa, eggs, and icing sugar if you wish to add it. The result will be a very creamy and soft cake that melts in your mouth. Let’s see how to prepare the sublime chocolate cake in just a few minutes for a 20-22 centimetre mould.

Ingredients

Sublime Chocolate Cake: Here’s How to Prepare It

To prepare the sublime chocolate cake, the first step is to melt the 200 grams of dark chocolate together with the 125 grams of butter in a bain-marie. We can also melt the two ingredients using the microwave. In any case, after we have melted the butter and dark chocolate, we need to let the mixture cool slightly. To this, we will then add the unsweetened cocoa, being careful not to create lumps. It may be helpful to incorporate the cocoa into the mixture using a fork. In another bowl, we will need to whisk the eggs and sugar, creating a frothy and light mixture to which we will add the previously created mixture, stirring everything with a wooden spoon. During this step, we must be very careful not to deflate the mixture.

Baking

To bake our sublime chocolate cake, we need to preheat the oven to 180°. We should pour all the batter into a 20-22 centimetre cake tin lined with baking paper. Care should be taken to level our cake well and let it bake for 30 minutes. Once baked, we must gently remove it from the tin. Before slicing our sublime chocolate cake, we can beautify it by dusting it with icing sugar. This dessert will retain its softness even when cooled. All that’s left is for you to try this delicious cake for yourself!
